Glen to Ben ride

The Glen Innes crew (Mayor Toms and friends) travelled on Sunday to ride with their Guyra neighbours and local riders Ken, Michael and Dave. This ride started a few years back and has coincided with the last weekend of the Lamb and Potato Festival. The 9am start from Rafters took the peloton north along Llangothlin Road to Ben Lomond. After a short rest and inspection of the local historic buildings and sites, it was decided to return for lunch at our local favourite restaurant, Rafters. Many positive comments were made about our potential tourism opportunities and abandoned infrastructure.
